Alcomet AD received a certificate for quality management in accordance with automotive industry standards

Just days ago, Alcomet AD received a certificate of conformity according to the standard IATF 16949:2016. The certificate is proof that the system for quality management of the company’s press-produced goods complies with the requirements of the automotive industry. This certificate will allow Alcomet AD to enter the automotive and automotive spare part market, as the leading automotive producers and their chains require a certificate according to that standard. Additionally, the implementation of the standard has led to an optimization of the processes, a reduction in losses and an increase in quality. All of that has decreased their spending and increased their results achieved. IATF 16949 is an international automotive standard recognized around the world. The International Automotive Task Force (IATF) is a group of automotive manufacturers, banded together in order to offer their customers around the world better products. IATF includes the following manufacturers: BMW Group, Daimler AG, FCA, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Limited, Groupe PSA, Groupe Renault, Volkswagen AG and their relevant trade associations: AIAG (USA), ANFIA (Italy), FIEV (France), SMMT (UK) and VDA (Germany). The certificate will open additional possibilities for the Shumen-based company to enter into new fields of manufacturing.
